Information you choose to share
When you request email updates, we collect your email address, signup time, and the wording of the permission you gave. This information is used to manage that request and the updates you choose to receive. It is separate from permission for analytics or advertising. Do not enter payment details or sensitive personal information in the signup form.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare hosts this website and provides its form-processing infrastructure. Hosting and security services necessarily process connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site. Rejecting optional tracking does not disable these essential functions.
Analytics and browser storage
Optional analytics is off until you accept it. When enabled, Google Analytics 4 runs through Google Tag Manager to measure visits and selected interactions, such as an accepted signup request or a video play. Our event code does not send your email address, form contents, payment details, URL query strings, or URL fragments to analytics. The Google tag may process device, browser, and interaction information and set analytics cookies.
Your preference is stored locally in your browser for up to 180 days. Google Analytics cookies may persist according to the published tag configuration. Withdrawing consent stops our optional tags on the reloaded page and removes accessible first-party Google and advertising cookies; it does not delete information already received by a provider or cookies on other domains.
Advertising and retargeting
Advertising pixels and customer-list audience sharing are not enabled in this release. We do not treat newsletter signup as permission to share your contact details with advertising platforms. Our privacy controls keep advertising off when a Global Privacy Control signal is detected. Any future retargeting integration must be disclosed here and use its own consent controls before activation.
Email services
Email signup requests are currently stored using Cloudflare. BGSG is setting up Brevo for contact management and email delivery. Once connected, signup details will be sent to Brevo and a confirmation email may be required before marketing begins. You can request removal using the contact email above; marketing campaigns must include an unsubscribe link. We will not upload the list to ad platforms based solely on newsletter permission.
Purchases
Checkout is not active on this site yet. BGSG plans to use Stripe for checkout. Payment data should be entered only in the configured secure checkout, not sent through analytics or the newsletter form. Purchase tracking and checkout disclosures will be added when the checkout is implemented.
Providers and international processing
Cloudflare and, when enabled, Google and Brevo may process information in countries outside your own. Their applicable processing terms and transfer arrangements need to be maintained by BGSG. Provider information: Cloudflare privacy, Google privacy, and Brevo privacy.
Your choices and requests
You can reject optional tracking, change your choices, or withdraw consent at any time using the “Privacy choices” button. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, object to processing, or complain to your local regulator. Contact BGSG to make a request. We may need to verify your identity without collecting more information than necessary.
Retention
Browser privacy choices expire after 180 days. Signup requests are kept while the requested relationship is active or until removal is requested, subject to any record needed to honor an opt-out or legal obligation. A selected email platform and final account settings may introduce other retention periods; BGSG must review those before campaigns begin.
